The company NORDCHEMIE® is a family owned company now in the 3rd generation and produces chemical building material. The trademark of our products is NORDAS®.
In 1970 we started the development of high quality and modified mortars for special use, e.g. the cement based thin-set NORDAS  G 5 tile adhesive for tile and natural stone laying.
This product was very good accepted by many tile layers and soon it was coming on stock at several tile dealers.
Beside several special products for the building material industry step by step further products for tile layers were developed, e.g.:

NORDAS  RAPID a fast thin-set grey mortar for repair works, already loadable after 3 hours.

NORDAS  FLEX a high versatile thin-set mortar for tile and natural stone laying, especially designed for difficult tile laying works like on  grounds with underfloor heater or tiles of high density in outdoor use.

NORDAS  WF 4 a versatile thin-set mortar for tile and natural stone laying, especially designed for difficult tile works at walls like new-on-old tiles, tiles of big dimensions or tiles of high density.

NORDAS  MARMORFLEX a white, versatile, fast-and thin-set mortar especially designed for white marble and other products with a throughshining effect. This product contains fine trass and, due to the combination "fine trass" and "fast-set", minimizes the danger of discoloration.

NORDAS-products are, depending on the product type, quality checked and quality controlledby the "Säurefliesnervereinigung Großburgwedel", Germany (Research and advisory institute for wall and floor coverings) as well as by the Materialprüfamt Nordrhein-Westfalen and by the Materialprüfamt Hannover.
Already in 1992 the NORDCHEMIE® took part in a competition, when the "Säurefliesnervereinigung" had tested products for tile laying with tiles of high density.
9 different products were compared, the combination NORDAS G 5 mixed with the polymer dispersion NORDAS  D had won the competition.
Working strictly together with a master painter from the city of Kiel (north Germany), the product NORDAS  Z 110 was developed. This is a gypsum based broken white plaster containing fibre and polymers designed for thin and smooth plastering on solid masonry and other suitable surfaces before painting or wall papering works starts.
The self-leveling mortar NORPLAN®  K 5 as well as the NORDAS-qrouts in grey, silvergrey, white and anthracite for wide and small joints are completing the program.
